to bring you these amazing opportunities for students within the School District.”

Cycle Solutions: Bikes for Indigenous Youth

Empowering indigenous youth through the freedom of cycling! Cycle Solutions is a transformative program providing free, refurbished bikes to indigenous youth. To participate simply register to receive your free bike. Plus, if there is enough interest, we’ll offer engaging workshops to teach you how to fix and maintain your bike.

Youth Tutoring Program

Join us in our mission to empower Indigenous youth in grades 6-12 with the educational support they deserve. Our dedicated volunteer tutors offer engaging group tutoring sessions in subjects like math and literacy. Enjoy the convenience of city-wide pick-up and drop-off options. Invest in a brighter future today by registering for the program or by becoming a volunteer tutor!

Generations Connected

This new program envisions bringing generations together in our community by teaching social media and computer skills to Elders. By empowering seniors with digital knowledge, we can help them stay connected to the world and their families. How does this involve youth? We are looking for students to volunteer their time to teach Elders how to navigate certain social media platforms and device training. This is a great opportunity for youth to give back to their community, build credits for graduation or to add your volunteer time to your resume.
